By using FrameRipper you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.

FrameRipper extracts still images from video files. All processing happens inside your own web browser using standard browser APIs. We do not receive, store, host or transmit your video files or the images produced from them at any point.

The service is provided free of charge. There is no account, no subscription and nothing to purchase. The site is supported by advertising.

Because your files never reach us, we have no ability to review, moderate or control what you process. That responsibility rests entirely with you. By using FrameRipper you confirm that you have the legal right to process the video files you select, whether because you created them, own them, hold a licence, or are covered by an exception such as fair use or fair dealing.

You agree not to use FrameRipper to infringe copyright, to violate anyone's privacy or publicity rights, to process material that is unlawful to possess, or to circumvent technical protection measures on content you are not entitled to access.

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable regulation
• Attempt to disrupt, overload or interfere with the site or its infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its hosting environment
• Reverse engineer the site for the purpose of building a competing product from its code
• Interfere with, obscure, or artificially interact with advertising displayed on the site
• Use automated systems to access the site in a manner that imposes unreasonable load

The FrameRipper name, site design, written guides and source code are owned by us and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute the written content of this site without permission.

Images you extract from your own video files belong to you, or to whoever holds rights in the source footage. We claim no ownership over anything you produce with the tool and place no restrictions on its use.

The site displays third-party advertising. We do not control which specific ads are shown and do not endorse advertised products or services. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are strictly between you and them. Advertising practices are described in our privacy policy.

FrameRipper is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with any particular file, codec, browser or device.

Video codec support depends on your browser and operating system rather than on us, and some files will not decode. We make no guarantee about the accuracy, quality or completeness of extracted frames.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including loss of data, loss of work, or device instability caused by processing very large files.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice. We may also update the tool in ways that change its behaviour, including its supported formats and limits.
